It was a subpar stay. Main things that stood out was how loud it got. I would hear people screaming next door, in the hallway, etc. The room itself was pretty small, including the bathroom. There were external bathrooms in the hallway but I didn’t use those. Blow dryer wasn’t functional and the night stand was broken.

Bigger doesnt necessarily mean better. Case in point: The Mosser Hotel in SF soma/yerba buena. Im not sure just how many rooms are for rent but its a lovely older building that has been completely restored on the inside. Thebstaffbis friendly knowledgeable and propwr. The Mosser stands in the shadow of the gargantuan monstrosity the Marriott Marquis. Ive stayed at both and going forward I will always choose thr Mosser if its available. Do you and yours a favor and stay here when you can. I believe it would qualify as pampering yourself. oldbbuikding and the hotel has been completely restored

Super friendly staff. Comfy bed, well lit room, bathroom with tub was a plus! Picked this place because of proximity to food, shopping, snd public transportation. Price was decent for the area for just one night. Appreciated the coffee in the morning.

This is an excellent budget hotel. While amenities are more limited than at other hotels in the area, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is courteous and efficient, and there are multiple areas in the lobby to gather for socializing. I also really liked the restaurant in/next door to the hotel. I did wish there was real milk on offer at the free coffee station in the morning, though.

The hotel is a little bit dated, but has a lot of charm. The staff is super nice and the room was very clean. Affordable overnight parking is one block away.

Had to pay early check-in even though my room was ready. Terrible policy - the only inconvenience was to me. Tiny bathroom, tub too high - difficult to enter. Room light/ceiling fan control took two days to figure out. Mattress too soft, bad for my back. Had to pay for a refrigerator (quality hotels provide free). I won't stay at the Mosser again.

Easy check-in, nice swanky little lobby and friendly staff. The room was small though not an issue as it had everything we needed and was clean. Neat old building right next to moscone center west and near lots of restaurants. Great location for the price.

Courteous and professional staff. Safe, clean and comfortable. No microwave, no mini fridge, no coffee maker in the room, but the convenient location is a short walk to Whole Foods, fast food and sit-down restaurants. Cable tv, not Smart TV. I visit SF frequently and always enjoy staying at The Mosser. What it lacks in frills, it makes up in its antique charm. While the rooms are modern, the lobby and hallways and stairwells will take you back 100 years. Don’t pass this up.
