Stayed at UV just for 1 night as my Husband had a very early hospital appointment. We have stayed before and the standards are excellent in all areas. Breakfast has so much choice. The choice of food around the pool was exceljent too. Will definately stay again.

The hotel was in a residential area and the shuttle service was not regular and also stops at 12.30. we had booked a tour on one of the days and realised no cold or hot water when we woke up. Had to use the guest toilet and go to the tour without having a shower as the tour was at 8.30am. they had some excuse that the whole block was affected. not very happy.

Nice hotel apart from the loud noises coming through the ceiling as another guest walked / stomped around their room. We suspect it is an issue of construction and lack of sound insulation but the hotel could not sort it out.

Nice place to stay.

As a solo traveler from the UK to Malta from 19Feb to 24Feb, Urban Valley is recommended. The reception staff are very friendly and gave advice on how to move around the city. My favorite feature was I the free shuttle bus to and from Sliema, Valletta and a bay (at selected times) which guest would need to book ahead of time with the reception due to limited capacity on the bus (8). There is a tennis court, a play centre for kids and a car park. My booking included a buffet breakfast from 7am to 10.30 am. Guest can indicate special dietary requirements. There are 2 clean swimming pools (unmanned/no lifeguard) and a fitness centre with a spa. Guest must pay €0.50 for each day in the hotel subject to a maximum of €5. The room was clean with complimentary bottle of water but a bit stuffy/musty due to humid weather. May I suggest that House keeping kindly air the room by opening balcony doors prior to guest arrival. Also, reception should inform guest that welcome letter and general information are accessed by scanning the QR codes on the key card pack and not assume a tired, traveling guest would already know. This would save them unnecessary phone calls to reception by guest needing assistance.

As always, this review is subjective and depends on what you are looking for. As a family of 5 with teens and young children this turned out to meet all our needs. We had a two bedroom family suite which was very spacious and had a fridge freezer, hob, oven and dishwasher. We were 10-15 min walk from the local shops which included Lidl. The hotel provided a free shuttle to Sliema or Valletta which was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
