We had a great time. It was very clean and smelled great upon arrival. The ease of getting WiFi working, the code to get in, and checkout was very user friendly. The rooms and house were well kept up too. This location was great for a two family get away. The only concerns we had were with the hot tub jets not working, screen broken on the side patio, and the second bedroom not being a true bedroom with a full wall on the loft side and no door on the entrance. It would be great to wall up and put in a door for privacy, in my opinion. Also of some toys or games could be left for families to use would be great. We had such a great time here.

Cabins fireplace is non functional, and there’s a lady bug infestation in the one downstairs bedroom. Literally crawling out of the ceiling fan and landing on you when you’re sleeping.

Smooth check in. Upstairs shower did not work so my kids had to use the downstairs bathroom which is inconvenient and part of the reason we went cabin and not hotel. The air was locked to only go down to 70 so during the day due to the large windows the sun basically cooked you. So we couldn’t go much hanging out during the day. We had to leave because it was so hot to go do other things, which we would’ve again stayed at a hotel for a 1/3 of the price if I would’ve know we would’ve had to spend most of our time in town anyways! The living room light did not work either which was kind of annoying but not as bad as the air and bathroom. Over all the cabin was nice, we didn’t dare cook there as it was already hot enough so I can’t comment on that. Hot tub was good not super powerful jets but it was relaxing. My kids and husband loved the golf game that was probably their favorite part.

Great Homebase

Cozy cabin. Comfy mattresses and furniture. We used the gas grill and fire pit. The guys had a week long game of cornhole with the boards left for us to play on. The kitchen was well stocked. The front porch swing was my favorite place to relax, unwind, read a book or just enjoy the mountain air. Location was central to “all the things”. We went to Gatlinburg several times. Pigeon Forge and DollyWood were not too far away either.

Bring your own hangers folks…. Plenty of closets but zero hangers. Also, if you like coffee bring your pot along. There is only a keurig however there weren’t any pods available to use when we arrived. We brought actual coffee. If you plan to do any cooking remember to bring your tea and tablespoon set… there weren’t any of those there either. It was Easter weekend so cooking/baking was on the agenda. The kitchen IS NOT stocked. Items such as Saran Wrap, tin foil, baggies, Tupperware will not be at your disposal to use so be prepared. The dishwasher doesn’t work! Handwash only! The interior of the house is pretty cool and my kids really enjoyed playing the golf video game in the loft area! That was a fun added extra! I will say that I think the house is more suited for 6 people rather than 8. The upstairs loft where the bunks and one king size bed is located is an open space. The one private bedroom is downstairs with a bathroom. I did not like the loveseats in the fireplace area and we ended up using air mattresses upstairs because I just knew it would not be a comfortable pull out couch. The loveseats should be replaced. The interior of the home was clean however the outside needs a cleaning. There are cobwebs on the porch screens. Also, the outside of the home is dark and needs more lighting. The front porch is great! The fire pit area is beautiful! The hot tub did work! The roads up the mountain are EXTREMELY difficult and google maps cannot keep up. Good luck.

Filthy!

We got there and there and the hose on the deck was running full blast on to the deck and the hot tub was only half full. There were empty beer cans (that we didn’t bring) laying around the condo and hot tub. Two shelves in the fridge were broken. One king bed had only a fitted sheet on it. No top sheet or blanket or comforter (upon checking out we finally found the comforter wet and soured in the washing machine). The other king bed had a filthy comforter on it, dried leaves in the bed under the sheets and a big wad of dirty towels thrown up on the top of the bed. Our kids also found money in their bed. There was also a wad of dirty towels and sheets on top of the washer. We were left no instructions on how to lock the doors when we left. I sent 2 messages to let them know about these issues and the only response I would get is “we will let the cleaning staff know, enjoy your stay”. Over 24 hours into our trip, someone came and dropped off towels. I ended up get covid… probably from the dirty room that was left for us. No one cares enough to even check back with us throughout our stay. Very disappointed. Absolutely not worth it. We emailed the company again. And they said “sorry we had a lot of emails, happy holidays”.
