the room was very nice, very clean. the staff was quite helpful to find something for dinner even at midnight when our flight had landed, and the breakfast was great every day. the location is also helpful, specially for first-time travelers since it's close to most places you'd like to visit, shopping, and not too far of a walk to the old city.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at in Shanghai. The property is very nice, the location is simply excellent and the amenities are great. But the staff are even better - they will ensure that your stay is excellent. Sometimes pictures can flatter a hotel - in this case, they even understate it. The room was large (and the bathroom even larger!), the daily service was fast and efficient. The hotel is 1/2 block from the nearest subway station, easily accessible by DiDi and very central for walking to nearby locations. And it is quiet at night. Based on our stay, this is highly recommended.

The hotel was perfect on almost every front except for their climate control. We found the room quite warm as although AC was controlled centrally and the room temp was constantly around 25C. We did not expect that we will need to open the windows to cool down the room for a hotel of this caliber. The staff were kind enough to supply a fan
