This hotel offers many amenities from PJs, toothbrushes, razors, you name it. There's a guest lounge with beverages and plenty of food options for purchase. The staff was very helpful, and handled all our luggage forwarding. Nothing beats the location!

It was a non-smoking room, but it smelled like smoke. There was also a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the ventilation was poor, so the odor even spread into the bedroom. The bed sheet had a small blood stain, which makes me wonder whether the sheets were actually washed and cleaned. The noise level was also quite bad. Because of the smells, I opened the bedroom windows for ventilation, but there were occasional loud car and motorcycle noises.

The room was smaller than the picture shows. There is no way 5 people, plus luggage for 5 fits in this room. I had to get another room for my husband and I. Even that room smelled musky. It needed to be aired out. The rooms reminded me of crusieship cabins.

Staff were very nice and room was clean and tidy. We had 3 rooms booked and all three had no view out the window - just an opaque window glass. Rooms were smaller than the other two we stayed at and the bed was harder than I would normally like. The area was busy, and access to the trains was great. Lots of shopping and restaurants were very close by.

Location was very convenient. Keisei Ueno station, Ueno station, and Okachimachi station were all within walking distance of less than 10min. Having direct access to Narita airport via skyliner means you do not have to lug ur luggage around when changing lines in the metro (metro transfers in japan are known to be long and mostly staircases). Plenty of dining options nearby near Ameyoko shopping street. If not, there’s a 7-11 and family mart within 100m for a quick fix. No issues at all with the room, clean and quiet as expected.

Easy to find hotel in Ueno. Good access to transport and good places to eat nearby. Hotel rooms are not too small for Tokyo (have stayed in smaller). The room air con is in a bit of an odd location - right above the bed - thankfully it wasn't baking hot otherwise we'd be sleeping in a constant draft. Very friendly and helpful staff and everything is pretty clean and tidy.
