Shibuya Excel Hotel's location is extremely convenient to MANY shops and restaurants. It is connected to the train station. The staff is extremely attentive, courteous and helpful. Very clean and quiet.

You can get to she subway from within the hotel building. There is a mall attached to the hotel. Super convenient to everything in Tokyo. Excellent choice of places to stay. The meds are quite hard for western standards but we learned this was common among all hotels. There’s a “fitness room” which is basically just a treadmill and a small workout machine. They will help with luggage transfer when you are moving to other cities. It’s easy and cheap. Theres a small fridge and water in the room. Microwaves by the elevators on several of the floors. Washer/dryer on several floors that take the 100 coin yen only.

Great hotel, great location.

Can't say enough about this hotel. Very clean and comfortable. All the amenities including free water, tea and coffee in the room. Plenty of lighting options and great views of the plaza and scramble square. Located within steps of tons of restaurants, coffee houses and shopping. I would choose the same hotel on a return trip.
