prime location. Close to everything. 1 minute walk to the kaminarimon. It is nice to visit during the night and early morning, avoid the crowds during the day. breakfast is nice with great view of the Tokyo tower. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Our experience here at this hotel was amazing. It was easy to find and Check-in was smooth. The staff spoke English and were polite and gracious. The room was large and the housekeeping staff was quick and efficient on a daily basis. I would stay at this hotel again 100%.

It was in an excellent position, the twin room was a good size and was able to open the window a little. The lunch time special was very good value and tasty. Negatives - couldn't charge my phone etc with any of the overseas adaptors but were provided with some from reception. The fridge didn't work. Also there was a problem with the taxi they ordered to take us to the airport, it was probably the taxi company's fault but the driver couldn't speak English and didn't recognise the words 'Haneda Airport' after driving around and stopping for a while he eventually drove back to the hotel to find out our destination. Not sure where he was driving us to start with but It was a bit stressful for us. Guess always have where you want to go written in the language of the country you are in! It was surprising as with all our luggage he couldn't understand those 2 words.

This was our best choice we made on our whole trip. Great location with so many sites and history right across the street. Staff are excellent, and helpful including the food crews who are amazingly friendly and efficient . Close to transport as well and tons of small and larger restaurants in the area. For a more upscale quiet outing, the river is minutes away and walking along the shores is so relaxing. We absolutely loved the hotel. We enjoyed the entire area which is packed full but so awesome. Do t miss out on this one.

I accidentally booked a smoking room. I requested to change but no rooms were available. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the room was super clean to hide the cigarette smell. Room had a subtle smell making it tolerable. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Room was bigger than expected.

This was our first time in Tokyo and The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon was honestly perfect. It's very close Asakusa Station and Sensoji, where we spent most of a day exploring. Ueno Park was great to walk to while exploring but you can also take a train. The lobby, restaurant, and terrace where all wonderful. You can see Mt Fuji peeking out from the far right corner. The staff was superb and very friendly as well. The room had excellent views and had exceptional space. We would love to stay here again!
