Higgins Beach Inn
"This is an older hotel but well maintained, especially for a building so close to the sea. We stayed there off-season, early June, so the hotel was not crowded. It also was on a Tuesday night and dinner is only served Wednesday through the weekend. That said, the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean and the staff was nice. Having a water dispenser in the lobby rather than water in the room was a slight annoyance but that was about it. The outdoor furniture on the front porch is comfortable and there are beach towels, umbrellas and chairs to borrow for the five minute walk down to Higgins Beach. There was a kitchen exhaust fan outside the window that was loud in the morning, but it was mentioned on the property's web site, so not a surprise. I'd say there again."
