Though our stay was short due to other delays in our journey the staff were great and friendly. Check in was a breeze and by the sounds of it we missed a fantastic karaoke night. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The food was hideous at breakfast and dinner- the room door didn’t lock and the decors was shabby. The staff largely appeared to be ‘over’ having guests and have not understood the meaning of hospitality
Newly refurbished room and bathroom. Well proportioned room with comfortable bed and seating area. Well stocked minifridge. Spacious car park, qiiet but in centre of all local facilties
Big car park and direct access to the back of the hotel especially convenient when traveling with a pet.

The rooms for a single person looked great but if you wanted to use the toilet one had to sit at almost 45 degrees on the seat as the sink unit was in front. This has recently been refurbished and surely just a bit more thought and planning could have been applied for the sake of the guests in the long term. After a long days travel we went to the bar to relax and found it to be dog friendly so were surrounded by the creatures, it was not to our liking so our money was spent elsewhere, this would not be allowed in a food establishment or bar in our locale. the property is almost next to the ferry terminal so do not add extra time to get to or from.
Walking distance to all shops and restaurants in Ullapool. Reasonably priced. We stayed in a very small room (which is what we asked for) and it worked well for us as we arrived late and left early as we were on our way to Lewis.
Staff friendly and welcoming, excellent facilities for the price. The reason I didn't give it a higher rating was because the bedroom carpet had dog hairs on it and my husband caught his shorts whilst sat at a dining table. After notifying reception the radiator was fixed but nothing further said to us as was implied when we mentioned it. 24 hrs later when we checked out we mentioned it again and where then told to write to the General Manager. Very disappointed at they way the situation was handled 😔
Needed a stop in Ullapool for the NC500, the hotel was adequate for 1 night and did all it needed to - comfy bed, good shower, bar for a drink - we ate out. We booked a superior room which included the mini bar; so that was a win! Picked up some croissants from Tesco on the way out for breakfast on the road.
