Very clean, quiet and beds were very comfortable. Short walk to all major attractions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Self service laundry around the corner. The hotel offers free round trip boat service to Murano. We enjoyed the glass blowing presentation there for free. A couple of minor drawbacks. There was a window in our shower which had a direct view to the neighbours. A frosted window would be ideal for privacy. Only two English channels available on the TV. Overall a great stay.

We recently stayed at Hotel Casa Verardo Residenza d'Epoca during our family trip to Venice, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we've ever had. I was traveling with my wife and teenage daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. The location is perfect—quiet, yet just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. The property itself is beautiful, full of charm and character, with lovely common areas and a peaceful terrace. But what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Whether it was helping with directions, offering recommendations, or even assisting with early breakfast arrangements, they were always ready with a smile and a solution. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels so genuine. Thank you to the entire team at Casa Verardo for making our Venice visit feel like home. We left with warm memories—and we hope to return one day!

All I can say is AMAZING! Our room was small but well appointed and had a beautiful patio with an excellent view of the clock tower. The hotel is close to everything but not too busy/noisy. The staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. I would 100% stay here again!

We loved our stay, it was delightful. Room was cosy, clean and had a great comfy bed. The property is at the convenient locations, you can reach main areas in just 5 minutes. Staff at the reception, particularly Hansa was great. Polite and helpful. Definitely stay again. Just a small recommendation, if ladies serving the breakfast could be more welcoming, approachable and smiling then i would have given 5 out of 5.

The staff, amenities, and atmosphere of d’Epoca were nothing short of wonderful! The breakfast offered a wide variety of proteins, pastries and beverages. This hotel came highly recommended by a friend. It is ideally situated 5 minutes' walk from Piazza San Marco, and the water buses at San Zaccaria which can rake you to the airport in an hour, or to the Santa Lucia train station in 30 minutes. Breakfast is available, served in the palatial first floor dining room by quiet helpful staff. Fresh fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, are all avaliable on b and b basis, but a la carte dishes come at a price and include smoked salmon, avocado, and omelettes cooked to order. The rooms are serviced daily, with fresh towels. A tiny lift takes you up to your room. Our small twin room on the 3rd floor was clean and adequately furnished, and the beds were comfy, but the bathroom needed updating. The shower was over the bath and there was no hand rail to help get in and out, and no slip mat. The nightmare hair dryer was a tube attached to the wall, activated by pulling on it, but pulling on it made it come off the wall and stop.working! It also had extremely low power, so bring your own haurdryer! The front desk staff were extremely helpful and chatty, and provided maps and recommendations of restaurants close by for dinner. They will print off documents if needed. There is a 'garden" on the ground floor, but it is just a small courtyard with a bench and a few plants. There is a little bar by the entrance for aperitifs or nightcaps, but it was always empty, and we got the impression it was more for the night staff to sleep in!

Beautiful building, lovely staff

The room wasn’t in the hotel’s main building, but it was located in a charming, historic structure. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were wonderful. The bed was decent, though not very comfortable—it was a memory foam mattress that felt a bit uneven. Despite that, it was an excellent stay overall.

Nice hotel in a good area of the city. Small room for a family of four adults. Costly considering the size of the room. No kettle no tea no coffee usually a 3 star hotel has the kettle/coffee/tea making facilities. Staff were kind and helpful. They allows you to leave your luggage behind after check in. I suppose for one night it’s okay.
