Just a one night 'stand'. Worked well enough. Location okay. We have never stayed in Wick before. Food and drink in resto' was pretty okay. Recommended to us be a friend who knows the area - but that was after we has made the booking. Close enough to be convenient for ferry crossing in the morning from Scrabster to Stromness.

Amazing staff

I had a great stay at your hotel yesterday! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm. We truly felt welcomed by the friendly staff. A special highlight was that our dog got a separate breakfast—such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch! It's clear that you go the extra mile for all your guests, including the furry ones. Likes - good variety of breakfast choices, dinner menu also good and food overall excellent. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Bed didn't seem a king as requested, but our room was changed quickly and efficiently. Relaxed atmosphere. Other - bedroom decor and furniture a bit tired looking. A major crack in our bedroom window was taped over. Shower had very low pressure. (All of which led to the good review rather than the excellent).

Quick and easy check in, we hadnt booked a evening meal table but were accommodated for, it was a sunday carvery with lots of choice and it was lovely. Breakfast was alittle unorganised, not much food out no glasses for juice

Disappointed. We were on the 3rd floor and the hotel had no lift. My wife has limited mobility due to a bad knee and this proved really unhelpful and inconvenient. On the plus side the staff were very nice and friendly especially the younger members who work in the bar and testaurant

It looks like the police station

When we arrived we thought it was the police station as the architecture is ‘functional’ rather than beautiful. Hotel room was lovely, very clean with good space. The bar needs some charisma added. The town is less than appealing and was mostly closed when we visited
