We came for the Merrie Monarch festivities. Staff is amazing, the room was clean. We enjoyed breakfast and a late lunch early dinner...the food was amazing!!!

Clean room, comfortable beds. Our only complaint was that we wanted to extend our stay by another night and the front desk could not do it without waiting for the reservation staff to arrive which wasn't to happen until 10am. Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel
It was the only available room for Merrie Monarch - stayed 2 nights but had to change rooms. Rooms were actually ok but there was basically no view of the bay as shown on website.

SCP Hilo Hotel
Room was clean and very unique. Loved this property and the vibe. Great location. Staff were excellent. Good amenities. Restaurants nearby. Would love to stay here again.

Arnott's Lodge
Loved it here! Would have stayed longer but they were booked up. Great location. Short BEAUTIFUL walk to the beach/park. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful! A+

Plumeria Hilo Hotel
Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than ...
