Is this really a 4* hotel? Our room was really run down, the furniture was dated and badly worn. Pretty dreadful. The redeeming features being location and indoor pool. We didn't have breakfast as at £25 a night that is a absolute rip off. Instead we ate at a beach side cafe for less than 10€.

Aguilas hotel in Murcia

Only time we have ever been to the same hotel 4 times. Says it all really. Spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. Excellent food service. Nice sitting areas. Staff are endlessly gracious and helpful. Nice sea front walkways and a huge beach which is never busy.

The hotel is right on the sea front and directly on to the promenade which takes you to the beaches. The room was clean and a good size.We has all the facilities which we needed.Our room looked to the rear of the hotel so no direct beach view. The facilities in the hotel were good with a restaurant and separate bistro and bar. An out door pool and sunbathing facilities. This is a 4star hotel and is nice

Whilst the reception area was good, as was the food, the room itself needs some TLC. There were holes and water stains on the bathroom ceiling, the paintwork at the bottom of the wooden frame around the entrance of the shower was peeling and a fair chunk missing, in addition to which the addition of a glass door into the bathroom was poorly finished compared to what must previously been there. Overall for the price I paid not bad but not up to the 4* grading the hotel suggests that it is.

Spent a single night travelling and visiting the Geode. Handy underground car park. Staff very friendly and excellent, very modern rooms. It has a lovely terrace with fantastic views of the marina and beach. Breakfast is great with both hot English type offerings as well as continental selection. We had a room at the back of the hotel so view not good looking onto apartments I suppose our choice not to upgrade to seaview.We booked for New Years Eve and wasnt aware of a private gala party in the hotel the bar in the hotel closed at 7pm on New Years eve what about the other guests staying !! We went to get our own drinks to bring back not good for a hotel of this standing nothing else open around the hotel disapointing.
