Great choice!

We had a very enjoyable stay! Everything was very clean, staff were accommodating and friendly. We very much enjoyed the hotel restaurant for both dinner and brunch the next morning. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I felt the bed was pretty uncomfortable. We forgot a couple of items when we left, and the hotel staff was helpful in finding them and holding them til a family member could pick them up for us. Thank you for making our weekend enjoyable! We will be back!

Everything was great EXCEPT the bed!

Everything was fantastic EXCEPT for the beds… which is why you book a hotel. The beds were so soft it was like sleeping in a bowl. The sizes were somewhat firm in the middle was so soft that gravity extended to pull everyone into the center of the bed… no support PLUS you are crammed together so that every move of or partner wakes the others. It’s a shame because other than that this place was stellar.

The mattresses in our room were terrible. Hot water came from both sides of the bathroom sink I kid you not. We’ve stayed here before and didn’t have a problem. When you sit on the edge of the bed and the mattress fully collapses it makes you wonder how such a beautiful, clean hotel can not make sure to upgrade and modernize their mattresses. My wife and I ended up in separate beds (two queen room) sleeping in the middle of the beds where there was less sinking than on the sides. I told a desk clerk about the bathroom sink issue and he said it may have something to do with the boiler that services the rooms but they would look into it. Staff were friendly and professional as always. Property was clean and dining was excellent. The mattress issue is very concerning though. We love this place but before we book here again we have to have assurances the room we book has modernized beds.

Best Hotel in Albany Area!

Love staying here! We did have some rowdy neighbors our first night- i called security and they quickly took care of the issue! Rooms are spotless, beds are beyond comfy, and everyone is so kind!
