We enjoyed meeting John at our stay at Gardner Farm Inn. We had the Mae West room and it had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Breakfast was great and felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. If you are in the Troy, NY area I would recommend staying at the Gardner Farm Inn.

The owner John, was an amazing host. Extremely friendly, a good conversationalist and a great cook. The B&B was filled with antiques and so many collectables that had great stories attached to a lot of them. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will be back!

A hidden gem! The owner is personable, accommodating and made you feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and the private, clean, quiet rooms created a cozy, comfortable night away from home. A rare find. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to friends.

Loved our stay at Gardner Farm. John was an amazing host. Made us feel like a member of his family. The “Mae West” room was beautiful with charming eclectic decor. Breakfast was delicious! John’s local recommendations were spot on, especially regarding the can’t miss Farmers Market. Meeting and chatting with other guests was a highlight.

We had the best time meeting John and staying at his lovely B&B! Our room was immaculate and filled with charm. It's only a short 5 min. drive into downtown Troy or a 20 min walk to lots of shops and restaurants. We will be back!

Bedroom at the front of the property took on a lot of road noise. 2 yard light illuminating sign deflects much light into the room. Could us some black out or improved shades if you prefer a dark room John was great, breakfast was great too. Comfy bed

A Memorable Stay With A Gracious Host

We had the pleasure of staying in the Mae West room, which boasts the most comfortable bed and a truly remarkable shower—easily one of the best we’ve experienced. Breakfast was delicious, the conversation around the table was lively and fun, and the entire atmosphere felt like a home away from home. John, the proprietor, is a genuinely kind and thoughtful host. It was a joy to be his guest, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. Highly recommend!

The owner, John, is lovely. He has created a beautiful and eclectic bed and breakfast. There are so many unique and varied details to the decor in this historic farm house that you will notice something new every time you pass through an area. The breakfast was delicious and it was a nice mix of being able to socialize with John and having our own space. Thank you for a fun, comfortable, and enjoyable stay!

Best BnB Experience Ever

My daughter and I were in town for one night to tour RPI. We certainly chose well with our overnight accommodations. Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. John was friendly, kind and took excellent care of us. His hospitality made us want to come back again....very soon.

John is a very cordial host and he made us feel like old friends upon our arrival. The building is an old farmhouse that is updated just enough to give it modern touches but also keep it's historic character while the decor is whimsical and creative in it's hodge podge way.
