Our room stunk like dirty mop & Pine Sol, and my wife immediately got a migraine. We called the front desk, and the gentleman sent Housekeeping up. Later, a cleaning lady showed up with a bottle of Febreeze to mask the stink, and I explained that her plan would only make things worse. I asked her to mop with JUST WATER and wipe down all the surfaces, also without cleansers, and she nodded and said she'd be back. She never returned. We propped the room door open with luggage to air the room out, and cranked the AC up all the way. After a few hours, we had to leave, because it didn't help. We left the room to sit in the car for an hour, and her migraine calmed down a bit. We discussed sleeping in the car, but decided not to waste the hotel $. Sadly, I spent several hours squeezing my wife's skull while lying in bed to help her migraine, and she stuffed tissue paper into her nostrils to limit her exposure! My poor wife suffered horribly, and I think I even asked in my reservation that "no artificial fragrances" are used in the room. Even if I did not, I expected a little more responsiveness after I explained the problem. I think the housekeeper may not have even understood what I was saying! Had your staff been responsive, the room could have been cleaned up, and my wife's suffering could have been limited. I'm committed to never staying at Hampton Inn, or any other Hilton chain hotel. I have had good experiences, including last weekend at at Doubletree in MD. This week? Fail.

This property needs a lot of updates. Front desk when I checked in didn’t tell me what times for breakfast, WiFi password. The key didn’t work. The remote in the room didn’t work. And when I went to the front desk to tell them, he opened a drawer and picked one of them out and handed it to me almost like they get this all the time. The room was dirty and dusty. Beds are uncomfortable. Base boards coming off. Dirty wall. I took a bunch of pictures so I wouldn’t get charged for anything. Then the pool. Lots of things on the floor of the pool and I was a little hesitant to swim in it.The outside looks very nice but not the inside.

Had a issue with the bathroom toilet in the first room maintenance took a long time to come we then requested a different room and in the next one the toilet was crooked, tub water was leaking, water pressure was non existent, the bed skirt was filthy, and the curtain was basically falling off the window. For sure would not stay again although staff was nice.

Clean, very close to a Wegman’s grocery store and other restaurants. Shower did not get very hot Did not honor my room request of being on the highest floor, put room in first floor and said there were no other rooms available

No hot water & Moldy muffins

We spent the extra money on this trip for a suite only to find it very dirty in corners and behind the bed. And NO hot water in the shower. We called the desk and waited an hour for a response and nobody called back or came to the room and we never had hot water so left without a shower…. The English Muffins in the breakfast bin had mold on them. I tried to be discreet when telling the desk manager who snapped back at me stating “she doesn’t work in the kitchen” not what I expected as a response. Don’t think I’ll be back here
