Good Spot for UGA games

We were only there for one night, but the front desk staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. There is an onsite restaurant but there are about 3 things on the menu for dinner; it's definitely more of a bar.

Neat place, older hotel that had been redone, very comfortable beds, shower was awesome! common areas could use a little touching up, freshening up. good breakfast. great location and friendly staff. Didn't love the vinyl floors.

OK but not my favorite

I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s definitely a vibe. They’re going for quirky but it’s just not for me. Both times I’ve stayed, the rooms felt damp and musty. It’s very bare bones in terms of amenities. The decor is fun but also a little creepy. Decorating the dresser by lining it with old portraits is certainly a choice.

The retro decor of the hotel lobby, breakfast area and rooms is awesome. The walk able location to the historic downtown area and several bars is a definite bonus! Would definitely stay again

This wasn’t a hotel. It was a motel, with all the issues related to a motel. The room smelled of mildew and was filled with insects. The room was not scrupulously clean and the bedding felt damp to the touch. It was a huge disappointment.

The room was a little musty, but it was a very wonderfully decorated interior design and that really impressed me! But what impressed me most was the staff and the service! Everyone was so nice and pleasant and efficient.

The property was fine from the outside and a cute little lobby. The rooms on the other hand were another story. Several rooms I popped in and they all smelled disgusting. Musty and like dirty feet. I complained, but there was nothing they can do about it several other people were complaining about The cleanliness and the smell as well. The breakfast was not good. Waffles were disgusting at the coffee bar. They were out of half-and-half and the syrups for the coffee lattes were not very good. The eggs were gross. I would not recommend this hotel at all. We got a discount for a UGA game at $350 but the other people that were complaining paid directly through the hotel close to $600. I wouldn’t pay $$50 to stay here. It’s like a motel.

Great spot in Athens

We had a great experience. This location is perfect for visiting downtown Athens or the University of Georgia. We walked to a football game and came back to a nice, quiet hotel room.

Third time staying here -- great location, love the vibe of the hotel. Walked to UGA football game and downtown to eat. Rooms have a somewhat musty smell...every time we have been here. Hope they can do something about that. Otherwise, great!
