It’s a walk up the hill past the museum to get there. And lots of stairs to the rooms with luggage. Cable service seemed to be on the Fritz. Our shower soap container was completely empty which makes me wonder how often it is checked. Took the lid off hoping there was some at the bottom. Bone dry. The bed was really hard which killed my back. Couldn’t get comfortable . I found the WiFi ok but it didn’t work well for my hubby. Odd. The room was clean but really smelled of bleach.

Staff is very pleasant. We requested a room with a balcony. The balcony was facing the street and it is quite loud all day with golf carts/ cars driving by. The screen door had a big tear where the handle is so that wasn’t pretty to see either. We kept the glass door closed to avoid the noise and flies. However, we did enjoy our stay there, the room was clean and the bed was very comfy!!

The stay was OK overall, although overpriced for the value. The room was clean and the hostess was friendly and professional. However, I didn't enjoy overly frugal approach of the owners to hide and lock coffee pods post breakfast hours of 7am-11am. We also an aftertaste of sloppiness: from the mixed up cold and hot water faucet labels, to a widely incorrect time on the office wall clock.

What’s a wonderful hotel, Erica and Amanda were absolutely a pleasure to talk to and so helpful. This is the only hotel I stay out in Catalina and they make it feel like home. Charlie the owner; keep it up!

The hotel is located above the Catalina island museum and is a very quiet place. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel has a continental breakfast which was very nice. The only downside was the ice machine and beverage machine was out of order during my stay.
