Be aware that the photo of the room used when purchasing is more than likely not the room you will be getting when checked in. Other people next to us made the same mistake and feel like we had a bait and switch situation when booking. Our building was partially painted. Our room had drawers which did stay closed and rolled out due to the floor not being fully level. The grounds are beautiful with a great view of the lake. This location was also conveniently close to downtown soha However we were constantly reminded of mismanagement with a hot tub that only partially worked and head rests falling off. Large boats parked in the parking lot old grill laying in the trees next to the parking lot. Our room had no smoke detector which was similar to the room below. Staff was friendly but likely lacked oversight to get simple tasks accomplished like clean towels for rooms

GREAT stay!

GREAT experience! Stayed 3 nights. Incredible views, especially sunset...friendly helpful staff...just a few minutes from town. Older place, but beds were comfortable and everything worked perfectly. We'll be back and next time bring the rest of the family.

unsafe cliff, no food for breakfast coffee only, 9am only one electric plug worked with an extension cord hookup. Lot of work not finished on property. hills with no pathway or stairs are very dangerous

The room was absolutely Beautiful! It looked Exactly like the It’s picture. The grounds were beautiful, kept and the view from Our window and balcony was amazing! The staff couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and friendly. And we will definitely stay there again. We’re already planning our next trip back to South Haven.

I think the owners may be renovating the hotel and the side I stayed on this time is not finished. Some things definitely needed updating. The beds were really not very comfortable. It’s a lovely place…needs finishing. Excellent service!
