Absolutely loved my stay at the Crowne Plaza! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless, comfy, and super sunny - perfect for starting the day! It's in a handy location, and the room is spotless. The staff is friendly. Just be careful that there is no water in your room. There are vending machines on some floors, but they cost over €5.

An up market hotel near the zoo end of the Tiergarten, in Berlin. We found it clean, swish and friendly. Be ready for the clientele take their nudity seriously in the basement Finnish sauna. Berlin is lovely to cycle and the Hotel offers a tidy little fleet of push bikes for hire. Just one very small constructive suggestion; it would be helpful to have a smart phone holder on the handlebars for navigation. We had a really nice three day stay in late May.
