Skyward is a generous trailside vacation home, ideal for large groups or multiple families. The home offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom on the lower level, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main level, and 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the upper level.

Our office is right here in the Powderhorn area with on-site maintenance, housekeeping, and reservation staff ready to help. You’ll always have support nearby, and if you’d rather not stop in, we’re also available 24/7 by call, message, or email. Whatever works best for you, we’re here to make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Nestled in the heart of the Upper Peninsula, the Powderhorn area is a true four-season destination.
The neighborhood also offers great local spots to enjoy—grab a hearty meal at Iron Nugget, sip a coffee at Copper Cup, try out a beer at old Iron Brewery or try a local favorite at Pit Stop, Uptown Café, or Club 28. You’ll also find shopping, live music, and seasonal festivals nearby that bring the community to life.

In winter, you’re just steps from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort and a few miles from Snow River for skiing and snowboarding, along with direct access to hundreds of miles of scenic snowmobile trails. When the snow melts, the adventure continues with hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the Northwoods.

We are conveniently located just off US-2 and only a few miles from Ironwood Airport, which offers daily flights through Denver Air. Whether you’re arriving by car or by air, our location makes getting here easy and stress-free, putting you close to all the area has to offer.

Skyward’s main level features an open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room that is perfect for gathering, viewing TV, or playing games. With large windows throughout, guests enjoy an expansive view of the hill and surrounding woods. A brick gas fireplace in the living room adds to the warmth and charm of the space.

Additional and separate space can be found on the lower level, which includes a second living/game room with a 75” TV, bar, refrigerator, and gas fireplace, along with a sauna for unwinding after a day of adventure.

WiFi is accessible throughout the home, and the two large smart TVs with streaming services add to your entertainment options.

Skyward has direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Alpen ski run and to Lift #1. The home is surrounded by a wrap-around deck with a year-round outdoor hot tub and easy access to ski storage on the lower level. Enjoy the brand-new slopeside deck for the perfect après-ski experience.

Dogs (limit two) are welcome in this lovely home. A three-night minimum stay is required.

What a great time the house was cozy and clean. My family and I had a great time the owners responded quickly, and anything that we needed to make our family vacation more relaxing they made it happen. Besides the hot tub being a little dirty everything was awesome.

Family Reunion

The property was very well-equipped. If you imagined needing something it was in the kitchen or in a logical space in a closet. We could seat and entertain all of our extended family for a birthday party and reunion. We had a wonderful, memorable time here and hope to be back. Thank you!

Lots of room. Loved the bar area and hot tub!! Charlene was extremely helpful! The only thing missing was the pool table. It was in the pics but not there when we got there. Otherwise, everyone had a great time!!

No AC. Rooms on upper level were too hot.

The unit was clean and has lots of room for a big group. The biggest down side is that there was no AC. The upstairs rooms were super hot and couldn't sleep at night. Can't use hot tub in the summer time. The pictures show a pool table but there was none in the house. The propane gas for the grill ran out while we just starting to grill. Other than these it was a great stay.

Perfect location for exploring and proximity to town.

The home was well setup for our multigenerational family vacation. Bedrooms and bath on all floors made it very convenient for everyone. The description had a pool table listed which was not there but we found other activities to do. The hot tub was big success after long days of hiking and swimming. Good location.

Not the best.

No one reached out to me for my pin, all the phone numbers they give you to call, doesn’t work. I was left stranded with no wifi and not a single phone number that works. There’s no ac. So it was very hot. I most definitely wouldn’t go again.

Can’t wait to go back!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay!! We had 15 of us and had plenty of room! Hot tub was perfect after hitting the slopes all day! We were right on Big Powderhorn and had easy access to the lifts! We had so much fun! The management team was just a call away and super accommodating to all of our requests! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Hot tub doesn’t work and was dirty, updates needed, a lot of electrical problems beware!

Checked in and the hot tub was filthy, needed it emptied and new water was put in. So the first day no hot tub for us. After that it would trip the breaker often that I would reset. I saw previous reviews and I asked to make sure the hot tub would not be an issue before my stay and was assured it was fixed. It was not! The main breaker blew 3 times during our stay when the stove was turned on. I am an electrician and they have major electrical problems, which I have alerted them on. While the location is perfect the total cost of the unit doesn’t come close to what you should get. House needs an update and that electrical needs to be fixed before they have a accident. Rental staff did their best and the maintenance man was great in coming out to fix the hot tub (I’m guessing he’s use to this). Overall cleanliness was to be expected, I found some mouse droppings in a pan but I wasn’t shocked. My suggestion is stay somewhere else you will be disappointed!

Needs lots of TLC

Initially when we arrived, the house was extremely musty, closed up smelled, I had to go purchase a fan to make the bad air circulate its way out! Outside there was a deck around the house which may have been nice, if the rail was broken, I did not let anyone walk around our there because it'd be way to easy to fall down so far. The garage must of been there forever, all the garbage cans were filled to capacity, it smelled, and my sister did not get any sleep because of the critters going through the garbage all night! I did call the office and I did get a good response and they came and empty the garbage! the place was not clean! We made the best of it, because we were determine to have a good time after a 10 hour drive. You need to pay attention to your rental because I rent a lot from Airbnb and this was by far the worst place when it came to safety and cleaniness.

We had to get a hotel.. I want a full refund. No way to contact anyone!! You have bumble bees in the fire place coming in the house through the wall exhaust. Mouse feces on the counter tops Dead mouse on the carpet stuck to the carpet. Charcoal Ashes on the deck Next to the gas grill Grass is foot high getting up to the front door Had to walk through spiderwebs to get through the house Back Door walks out to the deck with the guard rail has rotted off the deck to a 6’ fall. Place is not clean and a safety hazards Cut wires hanging from the roof over the deck This home listed on HomeAway is false advertisement!

OK, but nothing special for the money

House was very musty, smelled like no one had been in it for weeks. Many of the screens were missing, so we couldn't open doors or windows. The forced-air furnace had no option turn the fan on. No air conditioning. Wasn't even hot (in the mid 70's), but we had to go in to town and buy 3 fans in order be able to sleep. Other than the smell/heat the cabin was comfortable for the 6 couples who stayed there. Kitchen was nicely supplied. Beds were Ok.
