Whenever I visit family in Tioga County, I stay at the Comfort Inn in Apalachin, NY. It's affordable, impeccably clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is close enough to the highway to be convenient, but not noisy. I always leave feeling well rested and welcome back!

We chose this hotel because we wanted a jacuzzi in the room. The room was very large but there were large stains on the carpet and the curtains were torn in several places. The room would be lovely if a little more attention made to small details such as the torn curtains and the floor stains. The tile in elevator was missing most of the mortar and several tiles were broken. Not welcoming at all.

We had a health issue and needed to get in our room early. They were able to allow us that. That act of kindness meant more then they will ever realize. The room was immaculate, very big space, bed was amazingly comfortable. It was quiet, we got a wonderful nights rest. Easy off, easy on main highway. 2 restaurants next to it. The only negative is the light near the bathroon sink is not bright enough. I had to sit near a window to see to put makeup on. We will definitely be staying there again.

Was kinda what I expected from a comfort inn. The jacuzzi in our room 1000% needs a deep cleaning. It started shooting nasty crap out of the jets when we turned them on. Was a big disappointment since I booked the room specifically for it. There was also a section of the carpet missing right by the tub with carpet tacks sticking out and my wife stepped on them barefoot getting out. I try not to complain about free food but the breakfast was mediocre at best. Those things aside, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the room was gigantic.
