Stayed for one night with my family of four to go tubing at Hawksnest in Seven Devils. Was about 30 mins from there and typical mountain curvy drive but doable. We loved Blowing Rock and all the cute shops/restaurants. Close to Boone. Property is well maintained and quaint. Sleeping arrangements worked for us for a short stay with a pull out couch although no door on master bedroom. Not a deal breaker but does make a difference if kids go to sleep before adults. Light breakfast provided and no amenities but we didn’t need any. Overall we would stay here again and recommend.

This place is a must try

After attempting to see snow in Boone and any hotel with a suite was sold out we just randomly tried Blowing rock and the blowing rock manor and it was the best hotel experience we have ever had. And the town is amazing

The room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and there are plenty of food and shipping options in a few minutes drive. The only suggestion is to add a few mire options in the breakfast menu.

Wonderful Stay

A beautiful hotel within walking distance to shopping and dining. Though, this trip the weather was a bit too cold to walk anywhere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The bathroom is gorgeous and I love that the toilet is in its own room within the bathroom. It makes getting ready with a family easier. It may seem silly, but my favorite thing was that the rooms have ceiling fans! I keep our celing fans at home on year round so it a homey feel to me. The breakfast is a continental type breakfast brought directly to your room in a cute metal tub container. The only complaint was that the sheets were a bit rough.

We have stayed at several properties in the Blowing Rock area and The Manor has out shined them all. From the warm friendly greeting to the attention to the smallest of details. We cannot say enough good things we have experienced; we will definitely be repeat patrons!!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was wonderful, parking was private and covered, and the location was convenient to downtown. Check in was easy and instructions were clear on check in times. Check out instructions were a little less clear since the front desk is only manned during certain hours and there was no drop box for keys. My only minor issue with the stay was that we had purchased some Kilwins confections to enjoy on our drive back home, and it went missing from our room during the cleaning service. Outside of that small inconvenience, our stay was very pleasant.
