Unforgettable Views of Mountains & Lake - Quiet in Nature - Fragrance Free

The Tiny Tuck is a reference to the Tuckaseegee River. If you're familiar with our Eagle's Nest 775023 (2/2) and Eagle's Landing 749709 (2/2), then you are aware of the views on this mountain ridge. Well this little gem is a 400 sq ft tiny house. This is where Shannon and I lived while we built the other 2 cabins. Now that we've also built and moved into our dream home, we have the opportunity to share the Tiny Tuck with you! Although the views are very similar to the other 2 homes, on the right side of Fontana Lake, around the bend, it turns into the Tuckaseegee River that flows right through downtown Bryson City. Outside, you'll find a large spacious 470 sq ft deck with outdoor furniture and breathtaking views of the lake and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There's also a charcoal grill and fire pit with firewood that can be purchased on the property. The outdoor space is perfect for kicking back, star gazing, and roasting marshmallows. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way! Inside, you'll walk into a small great room with cathedral ceilings, a full chef's kitchen, and all the comforts of home. There's a 12x18 sq ft loft, a full bathroom with tub, and a queen size bedroom. Best of all, there are breathtaking views from every window.
Be at peace knowing these homes are completely free of any toxic fragrances or chemical cleaners, and Medical Medium Friendly! There are no air fresheners, plug ins, scented candles, incense, commercial laundry soaps or fabric softeners. We wash all of the linens, shower curtains, bath mats etc. in house to insure they are cleaned without any toxic commercial soaps, stain removers, or bleach. We use non toxic cleaning supplies like Unscented Seventh Generation, BonAmi, BioKleen, peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda. This entire 12 acre property has NEVER been sprayed with pesticide. We are aware of how these toxic commercial fragrances have a burning effect on the nerves, can perpetuate a weakened immune system, deplete the nervous system, and cause several other chronic health symptoms. Rejoice in knowing that inside our homes and outside in the surrounding hundreds of acres of National Forest, clean air and oxygen are absorbed with every breath. The Tiny Tuck is located on 12 acres in Bryson City, NC. This land is bordered on 3 sides by 600 acres of the Nantahala National Forest, Fontana Lake, and the GSMNP. Lake access and pontoon rentals are available just a few short minutes from the cabin. Downtown Bryson City is just a short 12 minute drive.
Bryson City was voted one of the "Top Ten Outdoor Towns in the East" by Outdoor Magazine, one of the Smithsonian's "20 Best Small Towns to Visit", "one of the top 8 Small Towns Near Stunning Nature" by Orbitz, and Trip Advisor ranked Bryson City as "the #1 Most Beautiful Little Mountain Town in America!" USA Today also featured Bryson City as "one of the 5 Most Charming American Towns with Mountain Views and All Season Destinations." Southern Living featured our Eagle's Nest cabin (which is on the same ridge) on the cover of an article titled, "8 Secluded Southern Stays Where the Views Don't Get Any Better!"
Discover what’s great about Bryson City, a peaceful mountain town bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with unique shops, galleries, lodging and restaurants. Surrounding our small town, there’s a rich vacation paradise — rafting and kayaking on the Nantahala River, boating and fishing on Fontana Lake, scenic railroad excursions, world class trout streams and mountain biking on the famous Tsali trails. We have creeks for tubing, trails for hiking, horseback riding, and beautiful waterfalls. We’re home to the Cherokee Indian Reservation and the North Carolina half of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. ..and we’re close - just an hour west of Asheville NC and 3 hours north of Atlanta GA.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was clean and the views were incredible. Even at night my husband was amazed at how dark the sky looked and how well you could see the stars. It was perfect for a couples getaway. It was a little further of a drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park than if we would’ve stayed closer downtown Bryson City, but it was (fairly) quiet. You can hear the guests in the neighboring cabin at times, so it’s not completely secluded. One thing to keep in mind is that the cabin doesn’t have a smart TV, so if you want to watch a movie while you’re there I would recommend bringing the DVD. We ended up being too tired to watch anything once it got dark, so not really an issue if you keep your days full and spend the evenings just admiring the view.

Amazing views! Located close enough to town for convenience, but far enough off of the beaten path for seclusion and privacy. Very clean and had every amenity we needed for our stay.

Priceless view

We lovers the tiny cabin and the view was second to none. Nothing but mountains, trees, and the river. If you had time and patience you could spot a bald eagle in the distance and a few times closer. No city lights so at night you look up and there are tooo many stars to count, highly recommended

That view is everything!

The home is tiny and you know that going in, but the view is unmatched. When not exploring the area, we spent most of the time out on the deck just taking in the view. Close to Bryson city to get groceries/food/coffee.

The million dollae view!

We have rented from these owners for a number of years and plan to do so again. The property is well maintained and pictures are a good representation of the property. The view is fantastic. We saw numerous eagles and a bear. This is a small unit but is fine for two people. The shower is not designed for very tall people! Owner is very responsive.

You will love the view!

The Tiny Tuck was a tiny home with a huge view! The house was a great place to relax between outings to see the elk in the area, watch the rafters, and explore the local shops. The view is so beautiful that our pictures look like we are standing in front of a fake background!

Quiet without the dull roar of civilization

Hard to find a place such as this, that is quiet and as close to the natural world as Tiny Tuck. At this time of the year you could sit on the deck and not hear air conditioners, power tools, power boats, cars, etc., etc., etc. - just wind thru the trees, birds, animals and insects. Simple and well put together.

We also booked the Tiny Tuck cabin for our daughter and son-in-law for the train ride with our grandsons! It is absolutely the cutest cabin! So cozy! The views are also phenomenal here as well! The cabin is well-decorated! Also very easy to check in! The location is close to town but off the beaten path! So quiet and relaxing! I would definitely book this one again!

Peak Fall Foliage, Moonshine, and a Bear... Oh My!

The Tiny Tuck and its views were just breathtaking. Our visit coincided with the Smoky Mountains' peak fall foliage which made for a magical time for my wife and I as we celebrated our 25th Anniversary! Michelle and Shannon were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond for us in order to make our stay that much more memorable. If you are on the fence about staying here, don't be. The house is small, yes, but its perfect for a couple looking to get away from it all. The deck and accompanying views of Fontana Lake are just perfect. We even saw a black bear swim across the lake early one morning. We stayed 4ish days and found plenty to do in and around Bryson City. From a moonshine experience on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to finding sapphires at the Cherokee Ruby Mine... we did it all and can't wait to come back to the Tiny Tuck to unwind and do it all again.

WARNING.. you will not want to leave

We came to the area to drive the Tail of the Dragon. And we had planned on doing hiking, exploring, dining out in the afternoons and evenings. But we never got to our afternoon activities because we couldn't leave the view from the balcony. Everything we needed was there.. large fridge, grill, and all the kitchen supplies. They even included the firewood. The only thing I will bring on my next visit is a zero gravity chair so I can nap on the balcony.
