This is a go-to hotel for me when I travel to Burlington. The last two stays have been ok, but I’ve noticed some wear and tear on the facility and things in the rooms, and not as clean as I would expect for the amount of money paid. Staff is very pleasant and the continental breakfast was good.

Disturbances due to flooding in a neighboring room led to a night without sleep. This impacted my (ill) wife very negatively, and led me to decide to not run in the marathon that I had flew in to run. We were asked to change rooms at 2 AM even though there was no problem in our room. After many discussions, we were allowed to stay in our room but by then the night's sleep was destroyed.

Start with positive: felt safe. 1st room we were given had retainer (from someone’s mouth) on the bathroom counter. Remedied quickly. Second room: scuff marks on furniture, A/C was struggling all night squeaking, terrible water pressure, ice machine ran out of ice-had to go to another floor; elevator didn’t work to open on 2nd floor. Just honest review

The room it self was ok in terms of cleanness but the bathroom there were hair in bath tubs when we entered the room. There was a strong smell of cannabis in the hallways and inside our room to the point that we could not sleep. We paid $400 dollars for a hotel that don’t serve more than a $100. It was a very disappointing experience specially with the rate we paid

The first room we were shown to had not been adequately vacuumed and did not have an upholstered chair. We got a different room, but the dresser in the second room was banged up and damaged. The facility as a whole seemed somewhat worn and the desk staff was not particularly cheerful or helpful. If this facility is any indication, the Hampton Inn brand seems to be slipping. After being regular brand patrons for years, we will be exploring other options.
