Anyone can legally fish from any dock so having a shared doc is technically every dock. Come enjoy the sunset side of Lake Wateree! LOCATION: Camden, SC on beautiful Lake Wateree (less than 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina whose address is 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC for our roundabout location of our cabin). Only 12 minutes to downtown Camden, to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-fil-a! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hours and Columbia, SC is only 45 minutes away. Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot! Yes, we have upscale restaurants nearby, and yes, we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often!) We are also only 5 minutes from Wateree Recreation area! Typically, guests have access to 1 kayak and 1 paddle board, but also the potential to share water toys with our three adjacent lake houses (each cottage has a couple water toys that are shared frequently). Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask). Additional parking at our airplane hangar. Welcome to “Lake Wateree Vacations!” No Contact Entry Promise! You will have full access to the land, a fire pit, a kayak or paddleboard (and access to another). Shared dock and access to a boat ramp. No contact check-in promise, but we are a phone call or minutes away! We are within 20 minutes of Camden SC and less than 15 minutes to restaurants and grocery stores and a Wal-Mart. We are on the Camden side of Lake Wateree and only a mile from the marina (3 miles to a second marina) so you know the location is excellent for lake lovers, boaters and fishers! We so look forward to sharing our lakehouse with you! There is room for a couple boats just in case. And we have had decent size boats put into our ramp so it is plenty deep :)
