Such an awesome Hotel! I give this hotel five stars and every single category. This property was actually built in 1996 but completely renovated in 2024 and when you look at it, it looks brand new. The rooms are sizable, the staff is outstanding, the shower is great and the bathroom very roomy, the beds are great however they are on the firm side, free parking, wi-fi, wonderful indoor pool and hot tub and most awesome thing that I have never seen in any other Hotel is the fact that they have this awesome open bar every day of the week from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. CST and an awesome morning full breakfast from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m.. everything is served from omelette, to homemade oatmeal and sites, biscuits, yogurts, and at dinner they have about another Buffet and in our case, we had the pulled pork which was outstanding and mac and cheese and slaw, chili, hot dogs and beans, much much more, free sodas,. The location of this hotel is outstanding as well because you can walk to everything from Home Depot to every restaurant you could imagine from breakfast to dinner, a casino that is just 20 minutes away, and I would only stay at this hotel in the future if it was available to me. Definitely five stars and a high recommendation.

We had a reservation at the Best Western Saluki in Carbondale and the property was FILTHY. I was so relieved when a room opened up at the Drury, this was our third stay here. The hotel was so clean and has lovely amenities, including breakfast and the evening happy hour, great snack options, and more. We were in town for my father-in-law's funeral and my husband couldn't tie his tie due to his disability; one of the gentlemen at the front desk helped us as we were headed to the church, I was so grateful for their assistance and warmth.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The only negative thing was the quality of the toilet paper. Most hotels use very cheap toilet paper. That way no one takes it home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxing yet luxurious, and the attention to detail truly stood out. The drinks, snacks, and appetizers were delicious, and added such a nice touch to our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend and will definitely return!

Nice and reasonably priced hotel on the road. The 5:30 Kickback hour was unexpected and really great for a solo traveler—free cocktails and free food, enough to make an actual dinner! That in addition to the generous free hot breakfast was a welcome surprise! Nice, clean room with great AC and a comfy bed too.

The building and room were both very clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were the usual terrible hotel pillow. They have free drinks and snacks from 530-7, we skipped the buffet snacks but the drink were good. The pool was pretty cold but the hot tub was large and worked well. Breakfast had several hot and cold choices. We crossed paths with a few families with horribly behaved children but never heard them or anyone else once in our room. The AC worked well and was very quiet. Staff was very friendly.

Another good Drury Inn stay!

The hotel had a 9.6 rating here when we reserved our room, so it was no surprise that our stay met and exceeded expectations. Staying at Drury Inns is becoming our default choice because of the all around good deals we get. The staff was friendly, the meals were really good and our room was comfortable with a nice large bathroom and modern fixtures. The pool isn't indoor and out like other DI locations, but still nice. You can't go wrong picking this location for your stay!
