All of the staff were superb and so friendly and helpful. Absolutely super breakfast well worth the price. Accomodation was spotless. Couple of small downsides 1. There is no lift so carrying your bags up a staircase you need to be reasonably fit. 2. Lack of shelves and only a narrow windowcill in the bathroom. The two drawers between the beds were ok but the top was where the tray for kettle , cups and tea and coffee was stored. 3. The TV was a good smart TV but at a 90° angle to the beds. No chairs .

Spectacular!

Lovely hotel, great value for money, fantastically clean and spectacular quality of finish in the room and adjoining bathroom. Fabulously friendly and helpful people, marvellous ambience in the bars (2) and a great Sunday lunch. Highly recommended

Jackie made my stay very nice, she was so welcoming, a very lovely lady. I was staying there due to my husband having surgery at the Heath. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends mainly due to staff being so nice and friendly.

I particularly liked the ultra comfortable bed & the quiet ..I needed good sleep! Lovely ensuite. Very clean. The room itself a bit utilitarian, not homely, grey, but that didn't matter for a good price & comfy bed. Lovely & warm, turned the radiator down! Bustling street with great family style restaurants nearby, spoilt for choice. The only negative were the very small glass for water & v small mug for tea.

Our very convient overnight stay.

The room was of a very high standard, everything worked as it should. The bar was good and staff very friendly. The only negative thing really was no food due to staff issues we were told.
