I remember staying here a few months into the pandemic, it was summer of 2020, and while the trip was nice, it wasn't much to write home about. This year we stayed during MLK weekend and I cannot commend the staff enough. From check-in, to cleaning staff, to wait staff during breakfast, all the staff were genuinely SO nice. Our room was lovely, but the staff truly made the stay memorable. I will definitely be booking with The Cassara again!

It was very clean and comfortable, safe and a good location The water pressure was horrible with a rain-type showerhead to make it even worse. And the tv was inscrutable. The remote was mostly non-responsive and I couldn't get anything like live TV. Tried to use the iron, but all the temperatures have rubbed off. Small hassles in the grand scheme of thing but it'd be nice if they checked out their own rooms from time to time.

Very noisy, even though they have their quiet time. The room above us had a crying baby that would run from side to side all night. I called the front office and all we got was either the dad or the mom stomping even harder. We had a half marathon and we need only one more hour and we asked a day before and said to ask the next day, which I did and all she said is that she had given the late check outs. The rooms were not very clean either.

The hot tub and pool are always a hit during travel and we were able to catch some good days between storms. The room was clean and spacious, and the fresh air from the patio was a nice change from hotel air. The cable is always weird in San Diego because there are so many commercials and infomercials. The breakfast was a little strange because of the setup. The buffet is like any other continental brekky you could get for free at other hotels and equally regular in taste and options. You might consider spending your money on breakfast elsewhere, unless you're on a time crunch or want some cute little jams and honey. Overall it was a good stay, and we will definitely come back for sleep and swim. And because we did not have the chance to visit the spa, perhaps that will be something to write about next time!

The room was very nice and cozy. Clean and well stocked. The view was nice and we had front row viewing of the New Years fireworks from Legoland and surrounding areas. Easy check in staff was friendly from front desk to bartender. This is our 3rd stay and we will continue to make further trips and stays.
