The Varsity is an older motel property that has been nicely updated with fresh finishes. The beds were comfortable, as were the linens and pillows. Room darkening was not great, but we enjoyed our stay and it was a good value for the price. We thought the room was cute and cleverly updated.

The room was surprisingly modern and very clean. The beds are really comfortable too! The walls are a bit thin and we had a very noisy neighbour upstairs but luckily by the time we went to bed they quieted down. We stayed here on our road trip from Albany to Vancouver BC and it was a really nice place to break up our drive. We will definitely stay here again!

It’s a motel and is not in a good location. Remodeling was nice, but room smelled like pets and the floors were very dirty. Outside lights lots up the room all night. A drunk guest kept surrounding rooms up most of one night.
