    Great staff but old building

    We decided to stay overnight to visit Petrified Forest since it was closed when we arrived, during a road trip from Moab to Phoenix and found this hotel. The staff was very nice. There were birds nesting in the corners of the outside halls and they screeched all night which I'm sure isn't the fault of the staff but they were disruptive in their pursuit of the insects flying around the lights. Also, not sure if its the area or the pipes but the water was a light yellowish color and smelled very metallic. The soap would not even lather in the shower. Not a quality stay but it served its purpose. The staff was STELLAR. The condition of the rooms and property not so much.

    This property is in a rural area. The restaurant next door was closed. Our biggest complaint was the location - it was a short distance from i40 and very noisy all night long!

    My mom and I stayed at the SureStay on a trip to Petrified Forest National Park. This hotel is clean, safe and quiet. We had absolutely no problems and would stay here again!

    Very friendly folks. The attached restaurant is permanently closed, with just a small convenience store next door. Nothing else at this exit, so bring food unless you care to drive to the next exit in either direction. But a clean comfortable room made it worthwhile.

    Beware the restaurant is closed and there isn’t anything close by. Rooms are clean. It’s convenient, since it’s literally on the I40. Easy to get on and off.

    The room was very clean, bed comfortable, very inexpensive, breakfast was included. The pool was broken/ cracked. The highway noise was loud and there is a train track that runs behind.

    Overall hotel is great with a few things worth mentioning. If you like silence while sleeping this place isn’t for you due to expressway noise. Pool is no longer. It is closed and probably never will reopen. Restaurant is also closed. Savannah at front desk was very nice and accommodating. We had issue with AC unit and was able to get another room immediately.

    Be advised - no pool or laundry

    There is no pool as advertised on this website. There is no restaurant. There is no guest laundry. We never found the ice machine. Breakfast was great - they included powdered eggs and some sort of protein stick. They refunded quickly, since they did not have what we needed for what would have been a 3 night stay. It is an economical stop, but there is no pool or laundry, so don't count on that.
