Great location, really great hotel!

Wonderful hotel. Feels like high end boutique without a the high end nightly rate. Centrally located between the beach and downtown. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Pool area is gorgeous. Even the hotel restaurant was really great!!

Face muzzled concierge.

Lady at the front desk was wearing a face muzzle so it was tough to understand her- figure out if she was happy or sad… People afraid of the outside world should not be greeting hotel guests.

My group of 3 adults booked 3 nights with two queen beds. When we showed up at 11pm to check in the hotel advised they only had one room available and it had only one king bed. They shared they called a nearby hotel and they had a room available for us. Hotel Indigo shared that because we booked through Expedia there wasn’t more they could do for us and to come back the next and a room with two beds would be available. They handed us a piece of paper to bring to the new hotel and assured us the staff was waiting for us. We showed up and the staff had no idea that we were coming. Staff recalled a women calling if they had rooms available but never shared it was a nearby hotel. I handed the staff a piece of paper saying hotel indigo would cover the cost of a room and the staff laughed that it was ten more than their incidental rate. After calling their manager to verify the process they accepted our walking papers and provided us a room for the night. The next morning we went back to hotel indigo to check in again and again they claimed to only have one room with one king bed. Hotel indigo directed the blame on Expedia for overselling rooms, which if that’s the case why partner with Expedia? After a few hours we received a room with two beds. The experience was very frustrating specially when visiting a new city and being turned away from your paid hotel in the middle of the night. I’d advise against booking through Expedia for this property.

The ole hidden fees....

I'm not a fan of phantom charges that end up on your credit card. This hotel hits you with a $16 "destination" charge. Why not just put it in the cost of the room.
