The hotel was under construction...no water both overnights, no hot water, construction noise beginning at 8:00am. Both the restaurant and coffee shop closed early including earlier than informed. We had to change our room when checked in. Only one elevator worked and was being used by construction as well as guests. When using the shower it left puddles of water on the floor, the sink was literally not caulked correctly and looked disgusting. The staff were as nice as could be but couldn't fix anything. I got one night's credit but really should not have paid anything.

Loved the Christmas decorations in the room, nice touch. Wonderful views of the pier and the dolphins that fish right out by it. They are remodeling, so be prepared for some noise during the day. No big deal

The room was beautiful as was the resort…however, the constant hammering and drilling from construction that we had no forewarning about was terrible. It began bright and early and lasted all day till 5 pm. So do not plan on a nap during the winter season while remodeling is happening. We’ve been going over for years and while we understand remodeling it would’ve been nice to have a heads up.

Due to electrical outage took a one night stay and Patrick at the front desk couldn’t have been more professional or helpful. Meal at the restaurant was just so-so but Rhino (sp) behind the bar was very courteous and protective of a single traveler. Room was nicely appointed especially for a very active beach hotel.

Beds where not comfortable. Need to replace the mattresses. Be careful regarding quoted fees and taxes. They were higher than what was quoted through Expedia. Will stay elsewhere next visit.
