We were locked out at 8:30 AM (key card not working) and no one was available at the desk to help. Card finally worked after ~20 attempts. Everything else was fine.

It was clean and bed was comfortable. The most amazing part is the small lake right outside the room. We saw swans with babies, Canada geese with babies, an otter, a couple turtles, a couple of cranes, that was amazing! You can tell the hotel is older and the owners are maybe newer and trying to make it. The hotel could use updating but it was clean and comfortable. Person who checked us in, maybe owner, was very nice and efficient. Would stay here again. Close to Indiana Dunes National Park.

Great hotel for the price. Did not provide breakfast, but cheaper than most that did. Clean and quiet. Grocery store and a couple fast food restraints in walking distance.

The lake view was wonderful. Unfortunately there was a lot of goose droppings everywhere so you had to watch your step. Staff was nice.

The only issue was it just wasn’t clean. Bug splatters on the wall. Dirty blankets. Carpet stains. The area was quiet. Beautiful view. Lady at the check in counter was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views, you felt like you were away at a lake (rather than in an area with lots of businesses). The room was nice, having the balcony was a treat to sit out and enjoy the view! Our small complaint was the luggage cart was terrible, so that made it difficult to bring our luggage in - otherwise, great stay!

I really disliked that the tv kept dimming to the point you couldn’t watch anything because of that . You’d have to turn it off and on or turn the volume up and down every 12 seconds to turn up the brightness. Settings and menu on the remote were locked
