A visit to Chimo Hills
It was nice. Staff was nice and room looked clean but had a slight stench to it. We only were there to sleep. Didn’t stay much in the room. However I’d like to point out when I arrived there it looked empty, maybe a slow day. It was about 2:30 pm. There was no one at the front desk. It was empty. I waited maybe 5-8 mins which made no sense, even tried to ring the bell but it was broken. One person finally showed up. I got 2 rooms and both were on separate floors and handicap rooms. It wasn’t a big deal but could’ve been used for someone that was truly challenged. I asked the staff if I could have a room at least on the same floor and he said they weren’t able to. He said that since we got the room via 3rd party that the 3rd party automatically books the handicap room. He said they are unable to change it since the 3rd party choose them. That I know was a lie, but I wasn’t going to press the issue since it was only 1 night. What they don’t realize is that I used to work in a hotel for many years, in front desk/reservations and anyone can be moved. I know staff at the hotel select the rooms. But all in all, my stay was quick and I still would stay again.
