We believe we ended up identifying most of the issues with this house during our stay. On arrival we found 3 of the 5 stove burners did not work, the dryer produced no heat, the water purifier didn't function, and the owner had canceled the cable TV service.A few days later, we experienced a major water leak that ran from one end of the house to the other, impacting access to nearly every room. We notified the property manager in the morning but did not receive a response until she arrived unannounced the following evening. After seeing the extent of the damage, she arranged to relocate us while major repairs were completed, including replacing the shower pan, bathroom tile, and stove. Fortunately, she was able to find us a home that was better than comparable for the 12 days we were relocated.Communication from the property manager throughout our stay was limited. The house could benefit from general maintenance. Several bifold doors jammed when opening and closing. When we arrived, a wooden bed frame was sitting in the front yard, and 6 weeks later it was still there. The shed doors had fallen off and were lying in the lawn, and there were several dead potted plants in the screened room.On the positive side, the location is excellent—close to both the beach and town, on a quiet street near restaurants. The screened porch is pleasant, with two chairs and a small table, and the BBQ grill worked well. The kitchen stocked with basic items was adequate for the 2 of us.
