Quick Getaway

Place was exactly as advertised, and our family had a great few days in the area enjoying the fall colors. Saw a thuggish gang of turkeys in the backyard but we held our ground and the pictures were awesome. Had two deer try to run us off the road on a hike up the lovely street however some alert evasion on their part gave us only laughter as a result. The area is awesome for anyone who loves the outdoors and America.

fabulous place!

This place is close to town but secluded enough that we had 5 tom turkeys come by every morning & afternoon, along with deer & a couple of fawns! Such a clean & bright interior, with beautiful views. If you're a late riser (like anytime after 5am!) they provide eye masks that work pretty well. Could use a few more hangars in the huge walk-in closet. LOVED staying here & would love to book for next July but they're already booked, sadly!

Great location!

Easy drive to many attractions in Coeur d’Alene and close to main highways to access others. Nice place - was as pictured. House was clean - all supplies provided. House A/C worked great as it was a hot few days in the area! Saw deer and turkey most days! Good communication with Chris as well. Thank you!

Great house, great location

This was a nice surprise. The pics and description don’t do it justice. First off, probably the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever rented. Host was super responsive. It’s a 3-story home with pool table and ping pong table in basement. Wild turkeys and deer roam the property and are fun to watch. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and view of Spokane River. We will return!

Such a nice getaway!

Minutes from downtown! The house was in a great location and we felt like we were in the woods. We had everything we needed, and it was so beautiful and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again. We also loved seeing the deer and the wild turkey's in the yard.

Perfect getaway

Fabulous stay in CDA!

In this case, the pictures do this rental justice. We selected Chris' property because the photos on the VRBO app were pretty spectacular. That's because IT IS! I have checked into other rentals before and often found that the photos provided were somewhat misleading. That certainly is NOT the case here. We found everything inside and out to meet if not exceed our expectations. Literally, it is perfect inside and out. I could keep going on and on but I think you get the gist. We loved it and cannot give it a high enough rating. Chris has done a wonderful job and we would absolutely love to come back.

The perfect spot

We liked this house very much. It was a cozy, comfortable place to meet up with our son and his family. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable, and had lots of towels. It was even a great place for my husband, who was recovering from a broken hip. The best part was the view, especially from the awesome loft bedroom.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. Lovely, nicely decorated, cozy home. A couple things to think about- fix missing vertical blinds to ensure privacy, fireplace needs better directions, and possible window coverings on front windows across from loft- lots of light comes in from harbor during the night. * renters beware of HIGH rate for cleaning, and other fees.
