The Suite: The guest suite is located in our walk-out basement. You will have a private entrance around the side of the house with a digital lock to check in and out at your convenience. There are no shared spaces. There are two bedrooms, one with a full size bunk bed . The other room has a queen bed.
The kitchen has includes a Full fridge/freezer, induction 2 burner cooktop, microwave, crock pot, griddle, air fryer/toaster oven. Utensils, plates, glasses, and a water cooler. The kitchen also has a dining area that seats four people. There is not a full size oven/range.
In the private bathroom, there is a shower, sink, and toilet with hair dryer and curling iron, lotions, and many other amenities.
We are an active family with kids and we live upstairs. We do our best to control the noise, but you may hear us upstairs. We haven't had any complaints yet, just making you aware. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat upstairs in our house. It can be cooler downstairs. Please let us know if you would like the temperature turned up or down and bring a sweater just in case! There are also a space heaters for your use and plenty of blankets. The fireplace is shutoff for safety purposes.
There is a washer and dryer in the unit with detergents that you can use. We're about 1/4 mile away from a trailhead to Pulpit Rock, which offers great views of the entire mountain range; this is a great short hike we love to do!
We are very centrally located: •10 minutes to the Air Force Academy and Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame •15-20 minutes to Garden of the Gods, downtown, Old Colorado City, Glenn Eyrie Castle, and Olympic Training Center. • 20-25 minutes to Manitou Springs , Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cave of the Winds, and Manitou Cliff Dwellings. • 25-30 minutes to entrance of Pikes Peak, The North Pole, Green Mountain Falls, and Woodland Park •King soopers, Costco and Sams, Starbucks, Home depot are approx a mile away •25 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport
Interaction with Guests: We live upstairs, the entry is private and space is private. We are very active so you may not see us. We are available via or phone/text to help with anything you need.

Getting Around: You'll be centrally located less than 5 minutes from either I-25 or Academy (major north/south roads) with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. off of both. This is a suburban home so a car is going to be your best mode of transportation (true for most of Colorado Springs)
