The buffet breakfast is good and have good choice, not the continental breakfast, so enjoyable. The public transport to attractions are so easy and convenient. The only drawback is the TV cast, all three nights that we stayed, only able to use it for around half an hour and throw mine out, cannot get back in! a bit disappointed. I still would like to recomment this hotel.

The hotel is under renovation but poorly managed. Front desk staff is overwhelmed and cannot be bothered at all. Rubbish around the entrance. Bathroom drainage had problems so after one bath the bathroom floor was flooded. I called the front desk the night manger gave a look and says give a look tomorrow. The next evening, after coming back from long day of work, still flooded, not even cleaned! Asked the front desk, they were not aware of this issue. And I was promised a fix. So I went out for dinner. As you can guess, after came back, still not touched. I gave up on this hopeless place. I cannot believe I paid nearly 500euros per night for this.

We upgraded the room so it was a good size. Pillows weren't great but other than that it was comfortable and nice and quiet. Really centrally located, nothing was more than 25mins away. Cleaning is only on request which was a bit odd. Didnt need bedding and towels changing but would have been nice to have had the bins emptied and tea and coffee replenished.

The Imperial Hotel was in a good location in Copenhagen, easy walk to the Train station, main attractions, restaurants and shopping. The room was clean, nice bathroom and counter space. Very comfortable bed, just ask for 2 pillows instead of just one as they were quite thin. Had a few cups for coffee or tea in the room with a kettle to boil water which was nice. Staff was friendly. They only offer room service on demand (eco-friendly). Overall I would recommend this hotel for its location and comfortable room.

This comment may not be unique to Imperial hotel, but the shower/bath tub iis so clean that it is slippery and the bath tub wall was relatinely high in height. To avoid a fall, I took a bath. The soap , shampoo, consitioner dispensers were located at a height for a person standing taking a shower.

Helpful staff. Reliable for calling taxi. Convenient for transit, restaurant, walking distance to grocery store, there’s a kettle for hot water to have tea and coffee. The downfall is the shower. The water will splash out that make the floor wet. I have to sit down to take the shower to avoid splashing. Do not go on the 6th floor if you have heavy luggage as there are few steps of stairs

Weekend stay in Copenhagen

The hotel is undergoing a makeover and so floors 1 & 2 were out of action. Our room was great very spacious and comfortable and did look as though the room was fairly new. We had everything we needed in here. The location is fantastic as it is literally 5 mins walk from the Tivoli main entrance. It is also right by a train station and so really easy to get around the city. We actually ended up walking everywhere although we caught a cruise to see the little mermaid which is further out of the city. The Rosenberg castle and botanical gardens are a 20 mins walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by and a 7/11 across the road from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was varied and we had no trouble getting a table in the morning.
