A family of four including two small children were loud and had the TV blaring. But more importantly, the hotel charged my credit card that I gave them for incidentals for the two night stay, after I already paid for the stay in advance through Expedia. A good thing I checked my credit card online and noticed the charge. I called that night and spoke with Pavi. Pavi said the charge to my incidental credit card was exactly the amount of two nights plus tax. She also said there were no incidentals. Pavi told me to call the manager, named Joy, in the morning, and Joy could cancel the second charge for my stay. I called the hotel the next morning and spoke with Joy. Joy was defensive, unhelpful, and unapologetic. She said she didn't believe me and wanted me to send her a copy of my statement. I told her I had not receive a statement yet because it was only one day since my stay. She then wanted a screenprint of my online account. I did it even though I didn't want to. I knew from my conversation with Pavi the night before that their system showed I was charged for a second stay. Joy's response to the double charge was more bothersome because the week before my stay I called the hotel to confirm my stay and spoke at that time with Joy. She confirmed I was all paid in advance through Expedia. I will not go back to that hotel again.

Had appointments for my Granddaughter at the University Clinic and booked the suite with 2 TV's. Price was good. The sitting area was nice to have so we could spread out. Parking was nice, area was close to the clinic and tons of my favorite stores and restaurants right across the street. Would definitely book again. Staff was great and hotel was very clean. There seemed to be someone cleaning every time was walked through the lobby. If you are from out of town wondering which hotel to book, you won't be disappointed here!

The manager tried to charge me a pric "smoking fee" when I went to check in to the hotel after pre paying online, he yelled at me and told me that was the fee and was very rude to me. I was exhausted after a long business trip and figured that La Quinta would be a decent place to stay for the evening but Jay Patel made sure he ruined that for me. My room was only $99 and I was only staying for one night, his name was Jay Patel, I then tried to cancel the room with Hotels.com and was told that Jay Patel told them since I was attempting to get a refund after the check in time (I booked the room AFTER the check in time also) that he would not give me a refund for the room. I also asked another hotel guest I saw how much they paid for the "smoking fee" (which is actually called an incidental fee) and the other hotel guest I talked to told me they were charged only $75 for the fee. I feel I was discriminated against based on my race and I dont think the smoking fee or incidental fee should be more expensive than the room charge, this is just a La Quinta Inn not a 5 star luxury hotel. I dont think it was fair for Jay Patel be rude to me, yell at me and attempt to charge me $200 extra dollars for a "smoking fee", my one night stay was only $99 and was already paid in full before my arrival. I did not even check in to the hotel after this incident because Jay Patel was very hostile, rude and extremely unfriendly, as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe, I was taken advantage of

Facilities and room are updated. Bed was horrific and killed my back. No smart TVS to watch my own shows. The WIFI was horrible and made my stay very frustrating.
