We reserved a king room and were given a queen upon checking without any notice. We only realized this once we walked into the room. They were painting rooms/repairing ceilings and it smelled very strongly of paint. Additionally the heater did not work. They would not move us to a king room stating there were none available. However, upon checking online they were advertising king rooms. Only after contacting Expedia did they (the hotel) offer a refund if we wanted to go elsewhere. Rooms were scarce due to many major events in the area so this was not really an option.

The blankets had burn holes in them stains on the bed skirts. Tub had dirt film. Pillows where throw pillows

Worst hotel experience of my life

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. They staff NEVER cleaned my room or made the bed once during the six days I was there. I had to empty the trash and ask for fresh towels. I would have found a different place to stay, but everything was booked up because of the football game and it being dad's weekend. Pretty sure that's rat or mouse crap on the carpet in the picture. Oh, and to boot, the person at the front desk called me at 6 am Tuesday morning to yell at me that I needed to use a different credit card. I would like a refund, and if that is not forthcoming I can't trust Hotels.com in the future and will book with other vendors.

Air conditioning unit did not work at all… there was already a fan in the room so obviously they were aware it didn’t ……staff was very unprofessional, absolutely disgusting dirty tub shower Had to open the window to get some fresh air, no screen on the window although we were on the third floor the entire building smelled like smoke definitely not enforcing a no smoking policy
This was probably the air conditioning unit that was supposed to be in our room because one in our room did not work. This box was sitting in the lobby.
This is the third floor window that we had to open and there’s absolutely no screen on it. Pretty sure that’s violation of every safety code ever written.
