Rooms were clean, hot tub needs work outside edging falling off, hair stuck to sides due to washing falling off. Hot tub blower to powerful could not even sit in it with out it splashing up on your face was not relaxing.

This property was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. First, we were booked in a King room and were given a room with a queen and full bed. At check in, we were told the WiFi information followed by “Don’t even try to connect though, it hasn’t worked at all”. When we arrived in the room there was a busted outlet creating an electrical/fire hazard. Then upon closing the door, we saw a roach crawling up the wall. To top it all off, the mattresses were covered in urine and other various stains. We were promised a refund for our stay by the hotel and are now going on a week of still fighting to receive our refund because the property manager refuses to call back or work with expedia. We have called multiple times and have now involved expedia (who have been excellent to work with) and they are now running us all in circles. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, However, there is a beautiful Hampton Inn that shares the same space, and it looked like an amazing property. Unfortunately they were fully booked but I would highly suggest going there instead of this atrocity.

My complaint is with Expedia. I made the reservation while traveling to Durango. I made the reservation on the Durango link. I think Expedia sent me to Cortez s the next closest location? But we unable to check until reservation was submitted. I tried to rectify immediately once the final details had popped up and it read Cortez location and not Durango. I spent the next 45 minutes trying to switch it. The Hotel refused since I made the reservation after 4:00 and Expedia said their hands were tied since the hotel wouldn’t budge. I feel Expedia was responsible as their link initially said I was reserving at the Durango location but switched me to the Cortez location which I could only see on the final receipt after payment was made. I slept in the Durango Fairgrounds Parking lot for the night. Thank you Expedia and Hotel Baymont!
