Entered room and immediately saw a roach, tub wouldn’t drain, and people above us were stomping/walking all night long. Even with the fan on I could hear them. Breakfast was decent and breakfast staff were super nice. Besides the bug the room was very clean. I reported the issue and they were surprised about it. I didn’t see any other sign of them in the room so I didn’t request a new room. It was very late and we just needed to get to sleep.

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had at a hotel, we have stayed at hundreds of hotels all over the world in our 40 years together. This hotel definitely rates in the top 5. The staff was amazing, the room had was spacious and clean. There was direct access to the parking lot and grass area which made it so easy to take my dogs out. We will definitely use this hotel every time we come to Cortez.
