We stayed last week for one night. The employees were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The breakfast were good but I've noticed the eggs and potatoes were very oily. Getting in to the entrance door, we saw people drinking. Nothing happened but felt a little scared. The hallway going to the room felt like walking in the dungeon. The room/bathroom looked clean but around midnight, I started itching and saw bites on my legs. I'm not sure if it's bed bugs. With the loud air-conditioner and bug bites, I didn't have a good sleep.

Great budget hotel

We've stayed at this hotel several times and value the location, the clean hard floors and new remodeled rooms but had to wait 20 minutes for the front desk person to show up at 10 pm at night. Frustrating.

The new after hours kiosk check-in is ridiculous! The last thing I want to do after 12 hours on the road is have to find the kiosk, then call a number to get someone on the kiosk to login to check me in, the spend 15 minutes waiting for the process to take place. The property is unsafe as the doors do not lock on the entrances. There is no security or front desk person watching the parking lots. The rooms are dirty and the bathroom faucets are loose. Cortez in general has gone downhill and I’m lucky this is my last stay at this hotel.

This was a miss for me

This is a difficult review. The property is old and needs renovation. The Quality Inn is not accessible and requires stair to go to basement or upper level. The rooms don’t have closets. The keys don’t always work. The linens are clean. The staff provide great service. The breakfast was good.

It was full of bikers who smoked Marijuana out the entrance of the building so you had to walk thru the haze. It was really noisy weekend

We pulled in to the property but decided not to stay despite having the booking. Exterior was rough, the area it was in was a little rough, and I didn’t like that. I also noticed another listing on Expedia has some of the same photos and that didnt sit right with me. Just decided to book another hotel room in a better area.

NEVER AGAIN

HORRIBLE! We had a late check in and they were overbooked. I couldn’t open the door for the first room they sent us to; I thought it was just jammed, turns out it was occupied and I’m lucky I didn’t get shot because I literally pounded the door to try to open it! (The couple was much more polite than I would’ve been). The 2nd room had hair all over the shower floor and the toilet paper roll was crumpled up like someone took too much off and laid it back in the roll. It also had what appeared to be a camera on top of the tv! Lastly, the air conditioner didn’t work so we ended up going to another hotel. I will say that the lady DID call the motel down the street to help us but that’s the only good thing about this place!
