The other reviews I read here were overly harsh. This is definitely a mom and pop - type hotel, and it's run that way. You'll see all the shortcuts they took, but its inexpensive and convienient to Hartselle, and the staff was friendly and accessible.

It was probably the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The sheets were dirty. Our tv wouldn’t work properly. The toilet was old and dirty. The shower faucet was broken, almost coming off. There was a half drank Mountain Dew bottle in the refrigerator. Obviously, they do not clean their rooms fully.

The room we stayed in (222) had a very strong smell. My mother and daughter went to get our bags while I stayed back. By the time they returned my throat felt like it was closing and I couldn’t take a deep breath. My chest felt tight and when I would breath my lungs just hurt. I was going to tell the front desk but couldn’t locate anyone. We ended up just walking out and having to book another hotel room 25 minutes away.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at over the last 5years walkin shower was great with a hand held shower wand and a seat with a back. perfect for my disable wife. Will stay here again in the coming months.The staff was excellent plenty of breakfast options, and the room was clean with a nice fresh scent
