This property was a premium hotel. Now it is not. Hallway carpets are stained and appear dirty. Guest rooms are barely clean, soap trays have old soap residue, the toilet has a bad flapper valve, and it would run. In the middle of my stay, for some reason, the heat/air unit was unplugged, but maintenance came up to find the problem. Bought a beer from the snack shop, but no one had a bottle opener. A la carte breakfast is passable but overpriced. This is my second time, and it will be my last.

Nicely appointed but no heat in room. Only a/c worked and it was 67 degrees in the room. Heat would not work fortunately timer on heat lamp in bathroom was stuck in on position so I left it on and ran hot water in shower until room warmed up. So sad to see Ethan Allen name on this place....lack of attention is main cause. Nobody accountable so nobody cares.

This hotel seems to have been really nice maybe when it was newer it’s definitely gone downhill. We stayed a couple years ago and it wasn’t horrible but still not as bad as this round. There was black mold and multiple areas of the hotel. My son woke up with swollen eyes, which could have been from either the detergent and the sheets or the mold. My husband saw a black mold in our shower. All of us went home sick with what seem to be like respiratory issues. The pool was not open nor was it stated on the website when booking.

The staff that checked me in was amazing. The lobby was beautiful. The hotel itself was beautiful - our room was old with paint, peeling and wallpaper, peeling and stains on the carpet. The maintenance man tried to come in our room about 1 AM because we heard the chain being pulled really loud. The tub was clogged and they thought that was a good time to come in and wake us up. We did not let him in so indeed when we took showers in the morning, our tub was filling up. Unless the rooms are updated, I would not stay here again. However, it was extremely clean on the table, tops and nightstand in the sink and shower and I was very happy with that.

I thought Ethan Allen had a reputation as a high quality brand so I'm shocked at the condition of the room we stayed in. From a dirty/stained shower/tub, to wall paper peeling at EVERY seam, shelving leaning off the wall, low quality furniture (this one might be the most shocking given their alleged furniture brand reputation) - this was a majorly disappointing stay. The reception was under staffed with only one person covering the entire time we were there. You either have to wait for reception service if anyone else is checking in/out OR if no one was physically out at the desk and you'd stand there waiting to be noticed, no bell to ring to an empty desk. There was no information on the hotel and it's offerings to be found in the room, not even a pen/pad. Had a free standing minifridge with a microwave on it which what'd you expect at a 1 star hotel - not incorporated into the furniture. Pool was closed during open hours in the middle of June. So, they might claim is a 3 or 4 star hotel but trust me it is not. The room was a 1.5 star at best. Just because some of their rooms have been renovated they're trying to pass the entire hotel off as being high star. I mentioned my concerns at check out and zero empathy was shown after I expressed how a bate and switch we'd felt had happened.

We stayed for a wedding off site. We arrived at 2:50 for 3:00 check in. Our king room was not ready. I told her we would wait the ten minutes for the room we paid for. She then offered me 2 full size beds. No! She then found a king room on the first floor. Not ideal, but it was fine. The room itself wasn't terrible, but the shower grout was gross and the tub faucet was about an inch away from the wall exposing the copper pipe. Not exactly luxury. The best part was at 9:45 am housekeeping entered the room while my husband was in his underwear brushing his teeth. I went to the front desk and the clerk proceeded to gaslight me that it was my fault I didn't use the do not disturb sign! Their policy is housekeeping is only after the second night! They had no reason to enter our room! I asked to see a manager and she said there wasn't one and she wouldn't be back until Tuesday!

I have a family reunion at the end of June which myself and my young son, since i’m a single mother was really looking forward to. 5 years ago, I caught a near fatal case of Covid19 when i was 35 and i had a heart attack and needed to be rescucitated, i also needed open heart surgery… im so grateful to be alive but i have a slight cognitive decline. I accidentally booked a room for the wrong night, noticed it immediately-tried to cancel via expedia, and called the hotel to hopefully rectify the problem. Their staff said they did not have any record of my booking, despite that my bank showed I paid for the room. He assured me there was no booking and that the charge should be refunded. It wasn’t. i understand I made a mistake but they are refusing to refund me, i’m on a fixed income. I won’t have the finances now to go to see my family, i’ve messaged the hotel constantly and called and no response or “I can’t help you”. They have also told Expedia they refuse to refund me. Losing $160 devastates me, i don’t think refunding me would destroy them. People make honest mistakes and being disabled could happen to anyone at any time. i think it’s pretty terrible customer service to help someone who made a mistake and tried to fix it right away… so i’ll be missing that family event bc i struggle sometimes with simple tasks, thanks a lot for helping someone who pleaded with you for help.

If you're not picky about the age and condition of your room, then Ethan Allen is the perfect place for you. The guest rooms are circa 1980's, but they're clean and roomy. EA is also still a really good value, considering the absurdly high hotel prices in the surrounding area. The common areas (ball rooms, conference rooms, restaurant) at EA are all quite nice and elegant.

Older hotel with a beautiful lobby. The room was comfortable but a bit small. The elevators were very slow, and breakfast is not included. The check-in process was also slow and felt disorganized because a rush of people came in at the same time as we did. The lobby and conference rooms are beautiful, the bedrooms not as nice.
