When staff did not reach out to me, I went through proper online protocol to cancel reservations made at Holiday Inn Express Danville due to an impending East Coast snow storm. The cancellation insurance for the booking was also paid. We were denied a refund by the hotel even in the event of a blizzard! The college tour we planned to attend was canceled and rescheduled. I will never consider using this hotel again. Our future plans are to book at other hotels when traveling back and forth to visit our grandchild at her new college this fall.

Everything was good accept the air unit in the room had problems and the staff on duty fixed it and showed us how to keep it running. It needs some tending to. I do not know if the refrigerator was clicking or the thermostat was trying to stay on but it need some tending to. Lost a little bit of sleep.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.

My mom and I were in town for my mom’s sister’s funeral. The breakfast hostess, Quincey was so hospitable and shared words of comfort. I hope you recognize her for going above and beyond. Outside of that being the highlight of our stay I would like to add that our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast had many food options.
