Come relax on the beach in this newly built waterfront home with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico! Built in 2020, this spacious beach house offers a great spot for your next family vacation or beach getaway, where guests can enjoy grilling and dining on the partially covered deck while listening to the waves break on the beach. All bedrooms are on the same floor, with the master bedroom (featuring a king bed) sharing an adjoining full bathroom with one of the guest bedrooms with a queen bed. Across the way, the second two bedrooms each feature queen beds and have a full bathroom set between them. There's room for everyone in this beach home, including the family dog!

What's nearby:
Grab a beach towel and just step out the back door-you're that close to the beach! This home is also less than four miles from delicious dining options such as Reel Deal BBQ, Islanders, Beached Cafe, and more! Take a day and take a trip on the ferry to visit Fort Morgan Historic Site, which offers more nature areas, a boat launch, picnic area, and beaches for visitors to enjoy. The good:The house is right on the water with great views of the gulf. The house is roomy and has comfortable furniture.We cooked out with the gas grill. It was great!There are many card and kids' games and even Twister -which we enjoyed playing, as the rain one evening kept us inside.Now the not so good:I will preface this by saying that I clean for my living and I notice things. I also understand that it is late in the summer season, but the whole house needs a deep cleaning. There were smudges on the door facing leading to the back deck, dusty baseboards, some of the inside of kitchen cabinets needed wiping out. The washing machine leaked. The trash can drawer needs repairs. The Jack-and-Jill bathroom doors were difficult to close, on one side especially. Maybe some simple handles added would help. Again, the house was comfortable for 10 people. It's overall cleanliness was acceptable. We very much enjoyed our stay at Sea La Vie.

Beautiful house on the ocean

Loved the deck overlooking the gulf! House was roomy, beautifully decorated, comfortable. Had to walk under or between neighboring houses for walks on the beach, but easy to do. We had some powerful storms come in one night and lost power along with all the others on the beach, but the home held up well with no damage.

Outdoor meals!

We loved the house! It was very clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed the large porch where we had many meals on the large outdoor table. This was the 3rd time that we stayed in this home and it never disappoints! We would recommend this home and location to everyone!

Great location - be sure you have 4WD or AWD

Great place, clean, beautiful views. We’d read about the occasional flood issue, hoped for the best. But one morning we woke to find our vehicle flooded and buried up to the wheel wells. Had large waves that broke through the sand barrier. Had a devil of a time getting it out, then spent most of the next day at the car dealer giving it a once-over to ensure no damage from people helping us pull it out. Property mgt called long after flooding started to warn us about it. We had to keep our car a mile or so away to avoid further flooding. So we felt trapped for a few days since we didn’t have our minivan. Otherwise, great stay - not owner’s or property mgt’s fault, just saying be *very* careful of weather if you have a vehicle with low ground clearance. This flooding issue, including too-late warning call from property mgt, is the reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

Great House

This house is very nice. It's on the ocean side and right on the beach (no houses in front of it obstructing the view or access). It's just what we wanted. Many listings say they are "on the beach". But, be careful. Those listings may have several houses between you and the ocean. Or, they may be on the Bay side. This house is not. It's on the beach. Great outdoor deck. Watched the sun rise and set every day while watching the waves come in.

Amazing!

The view was so great! We watched the sunset from the back deck every night. The house was well laid out and the linens and furniture pretty and comfortable. There are no curtains in the living room, which is kind of bothersome when you're trying to watch t.v but we were there to see what was outside so no big deal here. We spoke to several neighbors and did a few excursions and just had the best time. Relaxation is what we wanted and that's what we got!

Excellent Property!

The ONLY reason this review has a four star overall rating is because of a small incident we had with a construction crew at the property repairing the back steps/deck from Hurricane Ida. Obviously this was not something to be avoided…our only complaint was that we weren’t notified prior to arrival that they would be there during our trip and we had our two young grandchildren. The noise made it difficult for them to take naps and our daughters were a bit nervous to go down to the beach when husbands were not there. However, as soon as I spoke with Vanessa at Vacasa, she contacted the property owner and they were quick to have the construction crew postpone the repairs, resulting in a wonderful experience! The property was beautiful and immaculate, and you could not have asked for a better location! Our family had a wonderful time and we will be back!

Making family vacation memories

We had a great family vacation. The house was incredible. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 children. The bunk bed situation was wonderful. 2 double beds and 2 single bed bunks were great. Would have been nicer had all the beds been king size. Each room size could handle a king bed. The beach access right out the back door was more than you could ask for. Our family is already planning our next visit. The outside swing was great for the adults. Would have been nice to hang up single swings for the children. Communication with the manager was wonderful. Thanks for the fun memories
