No bathroom fan so steam set off the fire alarm, night staff was rude and no help for getting it to stop. Our room smelled so bad like hotel breakfast. No sound dampening in the floors so we could hear the person above us stomping around all night.

Staff are very welcoming. Great location. Around great restaurants, shopping and groceries. Beautiful Christmas decorations. Breakfast wasn’t served until 7:30 am. We needed to get going so it was missed which was disappointing. Thank you for a great night away from a bad winter storm.

Disappointing

Very loud clanking or banging noise intermittently inside room. Couldn't determine source. Bathroom sink was clogged. Food was on the floor beside the bed. A glass pane from the cabinetry was on the kitchen counter. Most dishes were still in dishwasher. Ironing table had a powder on the cloth which I had to clean. Distracted by that i nearly ruined a brand new Michael Kors dress shirt because the iron had a filthy residue, like a melted sticker or something, on the plate. The bright white shirt was stained slightly and I had to use a hair drier to iron it as best I could. The bathroom (shower room) was cramped and awkward which created some awkward situations. The mattress was soft and left both of us with back pains for a few days. I was told maid service was request only but the maids knocked on our door, interrupting an important call. For the price, I expected much better attention to detail and cleanliness. The front desk staff were pleasant as were the breakfast staff. The breakfast was clearly the high point, though I was disappointed that they only offered bacon one day. It was slightly annoying that juices, coffee, and sodas were free, but bottled water had to be purchased. Most of the issues were house-cleaning related and easily resolved. Would I stay again? Considering that there are two similar nearby hotels with relatively similar rates, probably not. I would have taken pics but didn't plan to review, and only did because I received a follow-up email.
