An older resort that has made many updates but definitely not fancy. Was clean. They didn’t let us check in until 3:59pm and were rude about checkout even though we were confirmed out of the room by housekeeping on time. Didn’t like not having a balcony so probably wouldn’t come back. Only window/fresh air on the street side and we’re not windows you would want to leave open for security purposes. I like fresh air at night so that was hard. Pools were clean but too cold to use and outdoor hot tub was always full of children. The tiki bar had a highschool baseball team wrapped around it waiting for smoothies one at a time so slow service but not the bartenders fault. She had a great attitude. The room presented well and had amazing views, also nicely furnished. Kitchen had most essentials. We liked the location and being near the grocery store and many restaurants. Feels a little more safe in this area for sure.

The room was nice and clean however when I booked the room I wasn’t made aware of the time share presentation that I was forced into which was suppose to last 90 minutes but lasted almost 3 hours and after many times of telling them I wasn’t interested in purchasing a time share they kept pushing it. Very frustrating and time wasted while we were there to enjoy our time away from every day life. Also at the time of booking there wasn’t anything that stated a security deposit of $250 would be held until check out. That wasn’t stated until I checked in online after it was too late to cancel the reservation or they’d still charge for the first night. Also, parking isn’t great.

This was one of the worst stays i have had in a ling time. They should really take resort out of their name. The bed was super uncomfortable so much so that we left a day early and lost the cost of a night. When i told the front desk lady she informed me that they were brand new mattresses but i could feel every spring and it was super uneven. I explained my wife is a disabled vet and there wasnt even the slightest attempt to help us. This was our 14th anniversary and my wife and i never go away alone, this was the first time in years we chose to not take the whole family. The staff was very curt borderline rude. We were woken up by cleaning staff on Saturday talking super loud right outside our door. When i told the front desk she told me it was not possible because the staff didnt come in until 7 (i looked outside when they woke me it was the staff) I could go on but I say all this to say you would literally have to pay me to stay at this over priced motel 6 ever again. I will say on a positive note the veiw of the ocean was pretty amazing. Also beware the desperate sales people!

They do not treat you well unless you are an owner

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay. I was in town for my kids dance competition. We checked in Friday evening after school and had to be up early in the morning. Due to our arrival time, we were not allowed to use the pool/hot tub because they close when it is dark. No lights on the deck. Pitch black. Check in is normally at 3, but we weren’t able to get in until 7sh. Saturday we were out all day for competition, so by the time we got back to the hotel, it was past 7 as well. Once again not allowed to use the amenities. Sunday was our check out day, 10am. We got everything out of the room before then. I came to the desk around 930 to ask if we can borrow the beach towels in the room and drop it off somewhere to return. The “property manager” told me check out is at 1030. I told her I was aware, and that we didn’t get a chance at all to use the pool and would like to be able to stay for that for just a little bit. She got so rude with me and said I’m asking her to break policy. I tried to seek some compassion. When she asked if I was an timeshare owner, I said no, she said they only accommodate owners. I paid about $700 for this stay and apparently my money didn’t matter. Maintenance harassed my senior mother later on and accused her of being rude. He gave her the most angry stare at her and I tried to speak to him, but he said he’s going to the front desk, then came back out with security as if we were causing a scene. They are not nice to you unless you are an owner!

Really loved our stay. The room was beautiful and seemed newly renovated. Loved having a kitchenette. The outdoor pools are really nice and the beach is right there. Would definitely go back! Woman at the front desk was a bit crabby but I can live with that.
