Family National Parks trip

Hotel was very clean, the staff was excellent, The food was excellent, the two bars were excellent. The parking was good but a little full on the weekend. Hotel is Close to many attractions and National Park Service parks and monuments. The area and the town of Deadwood, SD are beautiful and there was little traffic to contend with. Great trip And great place to stay.

The hotel staff love their jobs and they work to the best of their abilities. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, quiet and very safe. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. For $12 we had the Layup: 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, english muffin or toast. Always fast, hot and delicious. Out server remembered us every day and was a highlight of our stay.

Comfortable basic room

Overall an okay stay. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean, but amenities are quite basic. Restaurant food was underwhelming, and the pool felt dated and very kid-focused.

Away from the hubbub for relaxing but only five to ten minutes from the main action. For $2 can take a shuttle bus that runs every hr down the main st in Deadwood.

The property was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very attentive and accommodating without being overly intrusive. The only hiccup was when we checked in and she gave us a choice of first or second floor and when we checked out the first floor, the room itself had a door that would let insects in underneath the door jam. She quickly changed us to another room when we asked, and it was wonderful.
